When I first started seeing her my hair was recovering from another stylist frying it off (it was thin, the color was uneven and I was just overall embarrassed about my hair). From the first visit she made me feel beautiful again! Now that she’s been the only one highlighting and cutting my hair, it is beyond gorgeous! Monica is an accomplished stylist with 12+ years of experience. She specializes in soft dimensional hair color, and personalized cuts. She would describe her hairstyling aesthetic as timeless, soft, and effortlessly beautiful. Monica strives to give every guest a customized look that fits seamlessly into their lifestyle. She prides herself in clear communication and attention to detail in everything she does.
Balayage blondes, dimensional brunettes, and natural coppers are some of her favorite colors to create. She loves the instant gratification of a fresh and perfectly tailored haircut. She focus on educating her guests on easy to replicate home care and styling techniques to set them up for a great experience when they leave the salon.
Monica graduated from the Aveda Institute Chicago in 2012. She continuously pursues further education to grow her skill set with classes taught by top educators in the industry.
A true Taurus, Mo is steadfast, loyal, sometimes stubborn, and loves the finer things in life. Monica moved from Chicago to ATX in 2019. While she loves the easy going nature of Ausitn, she sometimes misses big city living. Outside of the salon, Monica is a passionate home cook, and loves to spoil her friends with fancy dinners, and baked goods. She is always looking forward to her next trip. She loves discovering all of the food wine and art a new city has to offer with her partner. Monica is a huge dog lover, and has 2 pups at home. She will happily chat with you about favorite restaurants, your latest TV/movie/book/music obsessions, and your cute pets!
